Before the end of the school year, the Southeast Delco Gifted Program took a field trip to the African American Museum in Philadelphia!

Students explored the Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design exhibit, featuring original sketches and more than 60 iconic costumes from films like Black Panther, Malcolm X, and Do the Right Thing.

Southeast Delco School District’s Kindergarten Registration event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the Kindergarten Center. 📅

Families with children who will be five years old by September 1, 2026, and who live within the district are invited to register their child, tour the building, and learn more about what to expect as their student begins kindergarten.

To register, families should bring the following documents:
➡️ Birth certificate
➡️ Lease agreement or mortgage document
➡️ Two recent utility bills showing your current address
➡️ Photo ID showing your current address
➡️ Physical exam, dental exam, and immunization records
➡️ (If applicable) A copy of your child's IEP

Children are welcome to attend and enjoy snacks and activities while families complete the registration process. 😊
