Comprehensive Plan

All Pennsylvania school districts are required to complete a Comprehensive Plan every three years. This plan drives instructional and operational planning for school districts and involves three phases:

  • Ready Phase: Assemble a steering committee and create a district profile, mission, vision, and values.

  • Set Phase: Complete a needs assessment and evaluate the district’s strengths and challenges.

  • Go Phase: Create goals and an action plan, including professional development strategies and communication methods.

The Southeast Delco School District regularly engages in a comprehensive planning process to ensure all students receive a high-quality education. The review also includes additional plans, such as the Professional Learning Plan, Induction Plan, Gifted Education Plan, and Student Services Assurances.
