New partnership with Today's Child learning centers

The Southeast Delco School District is partnering with Today’s Child to provide before- and after-school care for kindergarten through 8th grade families.

Through the partnership, before- and after-school care will be available at the Kindergarten Center, Darby Township School, Delcroft School, Harris School, and Sharon Hill School. Registration is $75 per child or $100 per family. If applicable, the ELRC will pay the fees for covered families.

“We are pleased to be able to offer affordable before- and after-school care for our families,” said Superintendent Dr. Yamil Sanchez Rivera. “We know our parents value safe, trusted, and enriching care for their children, and we are proud to partner with Today’s Child to meet their care needs right in our schools.”

Before-school care begins at 7:00 a.m. at all K-8 schools. For families needing an earlier drop-off, the Sharon Hill (235 Sharon Avenue, Sharon Hill, PA) and Clifton Heights (301 E Berkley Ave., Clifton Heights, PA) centers will open at 6:00 a.m. and offer free transportation to students’ schools. After-school care will run until 6:00 p.m. at all locations.

The program includes homework help, enrichment activities, outdoor recreation, healthy snacks and full-day care on select days when schools are closed.

Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year is now open. Families can register by calling 610-583-2273 or emailing register@todayschild.us
