Southeast Delco School District Superintendent Dr. Brenda Wynder had the privilege of welcoming Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to the District’s Kindergarten Center, lead by Principal Colleen Burke on August 25th.
During his visit, the governor signed a copy of this year’s state budget, which included 1.8 billion dollars in investments for education.
Wolf was joined by Superintendents from our neighboring districts, as well as local and state level political leaders.
Within Southeast Delco, Dr. Wynder promoted the districts multi-million dollar investments, which include state of the art air conditioning systems, advanced classroom technology purchases, significant investments in school safety and security, critical staffing investments, and investments in teaching and learning.
These investments would not have been possible without the continued support of our governor and elected official to ensure Southeast Delco Schools receive the funding that our students and community deserve.
