The mission of the Southeast Delco School District is to develop, motivate, and inspire all students through a partnership of success.
The office of the Assistant Superintendent seeks to support the organization's mission by working to align the supportive programming at all schools throughout the district. This process includes evaluating educational programs, selecting and placing staff, and developing budgets which reflect instructional practice, social-emotional learning, and data-driven decisions. All decision making will revolve around best practices and the impact they have upon student achievement and development.
The main responsibilities for the office of the Assistant Superintendent are twofold. The first is to work directly with building administration to achieve instructional, pupil service, and safety/security goals. The second is managing the grants that are funded at both the state and federal levels. These grants fund instructional programs, professional development, and other services that support the goals of the district.
Partnerships with the community and outside agencies will be necessary to ensure that the district continues to support its students to meet the needs of a global economy in the 21st century.
