Third grader Ryan Sears (pictured in the red jacket) took the initiative to start a Clean Up Crew at Delcroft. 🌎💙
His actions inspired his teacher, Ms. McDonough, and his entire grade to join the effort! Ryan even appointed a President and Vice President to help lead the club, and personally spoke to all three third-grade classes about the importance of keeping our school community clean.
Thanks to Ryan’s leadership, Ms. McDonough applied for and received a Franklin Mint Mini Grant to support the Clean Up Crew with supplies like trash bags, gloves, long-reach grabbers, soap, paper towels, and end-of-year certificates.
A huge thank you to Ryan and all of third grade for your dedication to keeping our school clean!
