The Southeast Delco School District will offer free summer hygiene kits for female students this summer.

Kits will be located at Delcroft School, Darby Township School, and Academy Park High School. Pickup will be available Monday-Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:00am between June 29 and July 29.

One kit per female student per visit, while supplies last. 💙

Before the end of the school year, the Southeast Delco Gifted Program took a field trip to the African American Museum in Philadelphia!

Students explored the Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design exhibit, featuring original sketches and more than 60 iconic costumes from films like Black Panther, Malcolm X, and Do the Right Thing.

It was an unforgettable learning experience for our students! 🎬

The family of Ethan Joner recently awarded this year’s $27,000 Ethan Joner Memorial Scholarship to Academy Park High School senior Elizabeth Amos. ⭐

This scholarship honors the memory of Ethan Joner and recognizes a student who demonstrates the same passion, kindness, generosity, and commitment to making a positive impact in the community. 💙

Congratulations to Lisa Comrey, Kindergarten Center teacher and PBIS coach, for winning the Teachers’ Teammates full master’s degree scholarship! 👏

With this award, Lisa will be able to pursue a master’s degree in Instructional Coaching and Teacher Leadership through the American College of Education at no cost.

Lisa said she embraces continuous growth for herself and her students, and she looks forward to developing her knowledge and skills to help her continue to support the students and teachers she serves.
