Hello!  My name is Dr. Custer and I am thrilled to be a part of the Southeast Delco School District community.  I am the school counselor at Darby Township School for children in first through eighth grades.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Temple University and I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy University. I recently earned my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Gwynedd Mercy concentrating in Schools and School Districts (Pk-12 grades) in the Spring of 2020. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Throughout a typical day at DTS, you will find me doing many different things: meeting with students individually and in small groups to discuss topics like making friends, making good choices, and dealing with stress/ anxiety. I teach classroom guidance lessons and meet with staff and parents to discuss how to best support students.
