My name is Brian Rosa. I am the 7th and 8th grade science teacher at Delcroft. I am originially from New Jersey but moved to PA once I started college at West Chester University.
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Secondary Education. I started my teaching career at Academy Park HS as a student teacher. After I graduated I had the opportunity to teach various grades and levels of science.
From 2015-2017 I taught high school biology, freshman science and environmental science. I also taught 7th and 8th grade summer school from 2016-2018.
I joined the Delcroft family in 2018. I have been fortunate enough to work with some really incredibe educators and mentors that have allowed me to grow as a teacher.
When I am not teaching I am either doing yoga, meditating, reading up on political news, at the gym or just hanging out with my friends.
My goal as a teacher is to foster an environment that promotes growth (emotionally and intellectually) and scientific literacy. I focus a lot of my class time on encouraging students to observe, challenge and question the natural world around them.
I hope that I am able to provide all of my students a safe learning environment. I want your child to succeed and develop their own voice as they reach young adulthood. Learning is not going to always be easy but it is 100% worth it.
I am here to help as much as I can. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I appreciate honesty and transparency. Let's make this a great school year :)
