I received my Bachelors of Special Education at Bloomsburg University in 1999. I also earned my Masters in Learning Disabilities at Rowan University.  I love teaching. I knew I wanted to be a teacher as soon as I started college. I chose Special Education because I like the idea of small group instruction where you really get a chance to work closely with your students. I started my teaching career in Bensalem Township School District for 1 year, then started working in SEDelco in 2000 and have never left!

I also have been a coach in the Southeast Delco School District for about 10 years. I have coached middle school field hockey, middle school girl's basketball, co-ed middle school track, co-ed middle school soccer, and J.V soccer at Academy Park. Currently I am not coaching any sports since I was on maternity leave for part of the year. I do love coaching. Sports have been such a big part of my life. I love to share my love of the game with my student-athletes! Hopefully I will be able to get back into coaching in the near future.

I was on maternity leave from last May until November. I had a little boy named Jude. He is my world!
