The Superintendent presented the 2013 - 2014 proposed budget to the Board of School Directors and district residents on Thursday, May 16th at Academy Park High School. The presentation was made during the scheduled Committee of the Whole meeting.
The goal of the Reading Olympics is to increase the quality and quantity of books students read for enjoyment. The Olympics are primarily a celebration of reading rather than a contest but all participants are awarded ribbons. Since the teams generate much excitement about this reading event, the experience is rewarding for everyone involved. Summertime is a great time to begin reading for the competition.
